Why Should You Join Us on A Group Trip?
It's a different way to travel than with just your immediate travel companions. One thing that should be stated right away, is there are no required group activities beyond what YOU determine you would like to join. Every detail is taken care of for you, similar to booking an individual reservation with your Custom Travel Planner. However, group travel offers a wide range of opportunities from specific curated experiences and VIP access, all the way to a laid back easy going trip that offers an extra layer of comfort to have a professional join you while you are on vacation.
Depending on the location, resort, or itinerary we may be able to offer discounted pricing or added values due to traveling in a larger number. These benefits require a minimum number of rooms or group members. Not all group trips have an AWTL travel advisor. We also plan personal group trips that we do not attend with clients through the year for friend groups, multi-generational families, churches, sports teams, affinity groups, as well as Bachelor/ Bachelorette, Honeymoon, and Anniversary travel. Some resorts don't require a huge number of rooms to be a group - sometimes as small as 6 rooms. For our curated group trips where one or more AWTL travel advisors joins you we have set trips each year that we lead- we try to balance our offerings year to year between adults only, family friendly, novice travelers and more experienced. Some of our more themed trips are long weekend trips, and some of the more niche experiences can be longer such as a Christmas Markets River Cruise, a Rome intensive, or an Inn/Pub tour of the UK. We plan usually over a year in advance, we are currently working on the plans for 2024 Winter and beyond. Here is what we currently have working:
